Children go on an exciting journey through the world of art by looking for details in famous paintings from the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. The app includes 15 new paintings and another 2 that already appeared in our other apps (The Night Watch by Rembrandt and the Milkmaid by Vermeer). Works by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Monet, van Huysum, Adriaen van Ostade, Jozef Israels, Jan Steen, Floris van Dijck, george Hendrik Breitner, Hendrick Avercamp, and more.
100 hidden details require children to look at art in a new way - very close! Can you find a jug with milk? Do you see a white unicorn? This app is suitable even for young children who are not confident readers as the questions are read out to you - all you need to do is look carefully and click on the detail once found. There is also an option to read the questions alone and play it without any sound.
The app offers no in-app purchases, it displays no adds, and will not connect to any social media sites. It is self contained and does not require internet connection to run, making it a very safe environment for children to explore.
The game will inspire the children of all ages, whether playing the game on their own or with their parents.
